Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely popular. Her mom raised her in the USA and she was subject to numerous racial slurs that left her feeling like an unwanted person. When she attended a 9th grade school audition, where she received praises for her voice, she started to build confidence. This not only increased her confidence but her ambitions transformed. She was a graduate of New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, she started her professional career, making her first appearance on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot She played the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as critical praise. In 2007, she was cast in the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. As a professional singer and producer, she's produced a single as well as an extensive work. She has also spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
