Melina Kanakaredes Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor is best known for her roles as The Resident's Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. In addition, she received praise for her debut television performance for Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Some of her notable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to the reports, she's working on a project with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides. They composed Immortals in an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. In addition, she's making a film for an upcoming series that is titled Gods & Heroes.
