Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American Actress. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). After that she enrolled in the Bratpack band and made appearances on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over 20 years. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of praise. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of prominent stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. She appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy that followed her initial success. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best films made by high school students ever made. The film cost only $1,000,000 but it grossed in excess of $50 million. Also, she began to appear on various television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she was a part of. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
