Anne Heche is an American actress. Her first appearance was in the world of entertainment with her role as one of the characters in the soap-opera Another World. She claimed that her father had abused her sexually before succumbing to AIDS. The relationship between her mother and her only living sister was strained when they defended her father. Her appearances on television included series and movies, such as "Fatal Delight," "The Brave Wild Side of the Moon,' Walking and Talking' and 'I Know What You Did Last Summer. Her romance and relationship with Ellen DeGeneres drew widespread controversy during her career. Following that, she was wed with Coley Laffoon. They divorced in the following years. She then dated James Tupper, with whom she had a son. She published a book titled "Call Me Crazy: A Memoir' in the book she reminisces about her troubled childhood, her abuser father, and her love affair with a lesbian. She went through problems with her mental and emotional health following the breakup with DeGeneres for which she had to be medically treated. Anne Heche passed away in Los Angeles on 6 August 2022 six days following the tragic car crash. She was 53.
